This was my first attempt at making Kombucha! I even grew my own scoby! (If you've never seen a scoby, be prepared - it's rather frightening!) I tried four different flavors, and liked them all, but I think my favorite was the Blueberry Lemon (or maybe the Mango Tangerine???) Each one was pretty unique, and some had more fizz than others.
My second batch I made Tart Cherry Lemonade, and it is now my new favorite (until I try other flavors!) The absolute secret is adding essential oils - it really gives the flavor a kick that you can't get by just adding the fruit. Yummy! :)))). And of course it also bumps up the anti-oxidants, which we all can use a little extra of ;)
P.S. My 3rd batch is brewing!
