Finding and creating special accessories for your special celebration is our passion.
My Grandma "Hue" was my junque mentor.
We roamed the flea markets and antique stores
of Missouri, Idaho, Texas and any other place our travels took us.
I would follow her example of carefully looking at an item - accessing it's purpose - and then deciding if I needed that item for my home.
I'm thankful for my Grandmother - who was my Junque mentor
and for my partners in Wildfire Junque.
I still love finding that special find!!!
The Lord is my Shepherd - I shall not want
I am so thankful for the promise of the 23rd Psalm - I can trust my Shepherd
Have you ever had a day - or a week - or a month when you felt totally overwhelmed?
This last week was one of those "totally overwhelmed with life and not feeling physically good weeks". It had its shares of ups and downs, ins and outs, good and bad, lovely and sad.
The one thing I always try to practice during those "I feel overwhelmed moments" is gratefulness.
All week I consciously turned my mind to meditate on the faithfulness of God.
"Great is Your faithfulness - O God
Great is Your faithfulness."
Even when I am faithless He is faithful.
I continue the journey of this week - maybe a little overwhelmed still, but grateful for the fact that He gives grace no matter what our journey looks like.
We are five friends starting out on a new journey called Wildfire Junque.
Each of us is different from the other, unique in our personality, some might say quirky - but we all have a commonality in that we love Jesus, have a passion for missions and we experience great joy in each and every discarded treasure that comes our way.
We are excited to see where Wildfire Junque takes us.
Follow us as we start and watch us as we grow.
